So tonight for tea, I made this big pot of tasty and very simple, stewed square sausages and onions. This recipe was given to me by a friend 🙂 So I can’t claim it as my own…but had to share it with you, because it’s seriously tasty! This will serve 5-6 as part of a main meal…we had ours with mashed tatties and garden peas, but it would be off the charts with chips! 😀
Everything I used will be listed below,
What I used – 3.5 Litre Crockpot (serves 5-6 people)
10 Lorne (Square sliced) Sausages – Fry them for a few minutes before adding to the slow cooker for colour.
1 Medium onion – Diced
400ml (14 fl oz) Boiling water
3 OXO cubes – or similar beef stock cubes
**Optional baby potatoes, carrots or other diced root vegetables could be added**
If you can’t find Square sliced sausage where you are, I do have a video recipe on the channel where you can make your own 🙂 Click here, and it will take you to it –
